Are you a young entrepreneur? If you want to be successful, it is important to choose the right place to live in. How many people you have access to and how many resources you can access will largely depend on the city you live in.
Sawyer Howitt, a successful Young Entrepreneur, gives us some advice on which are the best cities for young entrepreneurs.
The first is San Francisco. This is not a surprising choice. It is a hub for young entrepreneurs and tech startups. Twitter is based there. So are many other startups, including Yelp and Uber. Almost half of all residents have higher degrees of education, and the median income is over sixty thousand dollars per year. You will have access to many entrepreneurs in San Francisco.
The next is Austin, Texas. This is also a very attractive place for entrepreneurs. One million and seven hundred thousand dollars in loans are given out to small businesses for every one hundred thousand residents that live there. The next is Salt Lake City, Utah. It is known as a clean and developed city. Brigham Young University is located in the area, and the students at the university have raised over seventeen million dollars, which they have given out to startup companies. Palo Alto, California, is another good choice. Paypal, Facebook, Tesla, HP, and Pinterest have all done business in Palo Alto. Finally, Santa Monica, California, is another great choice for young entrepreneurs.
